Local Military Volunteer to Help End Hunger
America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia has been fortunate to have several groups of military contact us to lend a helping hand this Fall through volunteering and food drives. Soldiers from 603rd ASB, Hunter Army Airfield, 15th Air Support Operations Squadron Ft. Stewart and 366th CBRN Company have generously taken time out of their busy lives to support their community with the kind of energy they demonstrate in their military work. In some cases it has become a family affair with the wives getting involved as well. All the groups that spent time at the food bank were so enthusiastic, upbeat, competitive and most importantly, helpful.
